On 22 September 2025, the Embassy of Armenia, together with the Armenian community in Romania, celebrated Armenia\u2019s National Independence Day.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s celebration took place at a critical juncture, as the first concrete steps towards building a lasting peace in the Caucasus have begun. While the road ahead will require perseverance and dialogue, the presence of Turkish diplomats and business representatives at the event was warmly noted \u2014 a signal of hope and openness that resonated strongly within the diplomatic community and among all participants.<\/p>\n
In his keynote address, H.E. Ambassador Tigran Galstyan emphasised that the ultimate purpose of diplomacy is \u201cto help build peace and prosperity.\u201d He expressed the profound wish that an entire generation of Armenians might grow up without experiencing conflict.<\/p>\n
His message was echoed by State Secretary Ana Cristina \u021ainc\u0103, who reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and the historic ties uniting Romania and Armenia.<\/p>\n
The occasion also offered the opportunity to formally introduce Mrs. Mariagabriella Gambacurta, the Embassy\u2019s new Minister Counsellor, to the diplomatic corps and religious authorities present.<\/p>\n
