Heads of foreign missions accredited to Romania were also invited to attend the plenary session and the accompanying official events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">This year\u2019s gathering took place at the National Opera. The proceedings were opened by the President of the Senate, HE Mircea Abrudan, who underlined the role of Romanian diplomacy in promoting regional stability, strengthening strategic partnerships, supporting Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, advancing economic diplomacy, and continuing Romania\u2019s accession process to the OECD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Foreign Minister Toiu then presented Romania\u2019s diplomatic priorities in the current complex geopolitical context, with emphasis on economic diplomacy, continued support for Ukraine, the European integration of the Republic of Moldova, the evolving security environment within NATO, and the importance of Romanian communities abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">The plenary session was followed by a concert performed by the Orchestra of the National Opera and a dinner, offering an opportunity for dialogue among Romanian authorities, members of the diplomatic corps, and other invited guests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">At the conclusion of the evening, Ambassador Roberto Musneci KM stated, \u201cThis annual gathering is an important occasion to better understand Romania\u2019s priorities in a challenging regional and global context.
