This morning our Embassy organized a meeting for Ambassador Salm and Mrs Barbara Salm with the President of the National Agency for Roma, Mr. Iulian Paraschiv and his team.
Ambassador Salm was accompanied by Ferenc Tischler and Anca Simu, respectively General Director and Director of Programs of SAMR and of course Ambassador Roberto Musneci.
The meeting started as a protocol one but soon evolved in an operational meeting where principles, values but also projects and potential collaborations were discussed. It was an excellent 2 hours meeting which hopefully will pave the way to a systemic cooperation between the National Agency for Roma and the Sovereign Order of Malta over and beyond the current collaboration of local level. Again the concepts of “Integration rather than Assimilation” were discussed on the basis of the current experiences.
