Yesterday, the 19th edition of the Bucharest International Film Festival ( BIFF) was launched at Elisabeta Palace, residence of the Royal Family.
HRH, Prince Radu of Romania, patron of the festival and HE Raluca Turcan, minister of culture opened the ceremony alongside Alex Serban, President & Founder of Grigore Vasiliu Birlic Association, and Dana Dimitriu Chelba, Founder of BIFF.

Several parliamentarians and diplomats participated to the event together with known intellectuals, artists and representatives of the Romanian film industry.
The festival, that will take place in September, will feature films from Romania, Germany, Japan, Mexico and other countries. It will also have a section dedicated to young film directors.
Cinematography, Arts, Economy, Social inclusion. All layers of Romanian society where the Sovereign Order of Malta is present with its values and activities.
