Sunday, on invitation of the Armenian Ambassador, HE Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador Musneci participated to a holy Mass at the Armenian Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gabriel to remember the Armenian genocide and displacement perpetrated between 1915 and 1923 when almost 1.5 million Armenians lost their lives.The liturgy was officiated by HE Bishop Datev Hakobyan who also laid a wreath at the commemoration monument after the ceremony. In this moment of international tensions and outright war not only in Ukraine and the Middle East but also in the Caucasus where people are displaced and hostages are taken, it is important to pray for peace and, hopefully, reconciliation.
