Yesterday, Ambassador Roberto Musneci met the Country representative of World Health Organization, Dr. Caroline Carinval, the Healthcare Operations Manager, Dr. Silvia Gatscher and the legal advisor Mr. Andrei Dorobantu. Beyond a short presentation of the main healthcare projects of the Order and the main priorities of WHO, the need of synergies to improve healthcare education in rural areas and in specific disadvantaged communities was discussed. This was done in the hope that WHO and SAMR personnel might cooperate in the near future in terms of training and dissemination of information aimed at improving awareness and screening. more operational meetings will follow to identify specific areas of collaboration.
