The Embassy organized on 28th May a small reception to welcome the Ambassador at large of the Sovereign Order of Malta for the Roma Issue, HE Franz Salm and his wife Barbara.
Ambassador Salm has been and continues to be the engine of all Order initiative to facilitate the inclusion of the

Roma communities in Central Eastern Europe. In addition to several projects in Romania, Ambassador Salm leads our projects in Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine and He is an advocate for the “Integration rather than Assimilation” of Roma communities, that maintain the cultural identity of such a diverse ethnic group.

Among friends and supporters, the Apostolic Nuntio, the Ambassadors of Austria and Slovenia, the Charge’ d’affaire of Ukraine and the President of SAMR participated to the event in the Residence.
