Yesterday, at the Government palace the 78th anniversary of the United Nations was celebrated in a short conference and cocktail.
The Prime Minister, H.E. Marcel Ciolacu opened the ceremony with his remarks of high appreciation for the role of the UN in general and specifically for the work done by the UN Institutions in Romania.
His speech was preceded by a young Romanian girl who is beneficiary of UN study opportunity and a young Ukranian refugee who spoke about her experience and opportunities offered to her and her daughter in Romania.
The ceremony continued with short but impactful remarks made the head of each one of the UN institutions present in Romania: OIM, UNICEF, UNHCR, WHO and World Bank.
The embassy of the Sovereign Order is familiar with the main activities of each institution in Romania and actively collaborating with some of them.
