Yesterday, the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta paid a visit to the Liceul Tehnologic “Petru Poni” in sector 6.
The visit was solicited by the Secretary of the Industry and Services Commission of the Chamber of deputy, Mrs. Oana Marciana Ozmen and organized by Mr. Daniel Ene.
The school is in full restructuring thanks to PNNR funds and hosts several hundreds students in a generous campus that after restructuring in less than a year will be point of reference for technical undergraduate studies.
Mrs. Ciampoli Marialaura and H.E. Mr. Roberto Musneci were accompanied in the visit by Mr. Paul Moldovan Sector 6 city manager and other executives of the sector municipality as well as Mr. Bogdan Ionescu and Mrs. Steluta Vasile, respectively Director and deputy director of the school and Mrs Elena Nicorici, Chief administrator.
Among the many students, the school hosts a few tens of underprivileged children that received from the Embassy some educational material on the first day of 2023 Romanian academic year.
The visit generated several ideas of collaboration that might be explored in the future with the support of the Embassy and capitalizing on the remarkable commitment of the school and sector management.
