Ambassador Roberto Musneci discusses the Order of Malta’s over 100 projects in Romania and the spiritual foundation of benevolence on Financial Intelligence.
On 25 June, the Embassy of the Order of Malta to Romania hosted its annual National Day Reception, celebrating the Nativity of John the Baptist, the Patron Saint of the Order. Among the 170 attendees were ambassadors, diplomats, government representatives, and members of the Order of Malta worldwide. Official speeches were delivered by H.E. Roberto Musneci, Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Romania, and Dr. Raed Arafat, who highlighted the origins of Romania's emergency rescue service, SMURD, supported by the Order. The event emphasized the Order's diplomatic relations and significance of St John the Baptist.
On 24 June, to celebrate the Nativity of John the Baptist, the Embassy and the National Association in Romania (AROM) of the Order of Malta were hosted at the Apostolic Nunciature by the Apostolic Nuncio to Romania and Moldova, Archbishop Giampiero Gloder, and who was joined by Mons. Ioan Robu and Fr. Gabriel Daniel Popa.
