In March, Ambassador Musneci meets the new Secretary of the Nunciature in Bucharest. Msgr. Mario Codamo came from Singapore with a wide experience in Vatican diplomacy in South East Asia and Switzerland.

Also know as Unification Day or Great Union Day (Ziua Marii Uniri), this annual public holiday is celebrated every year to mark the unification of Transylvania, Bassarabia, and Bukovina, with the Romanian Kingdom in 1918.
On Tuesday 26 November, the Polish Ambassador to Romania, HE Paweł Soloch, organised a welcome concert and reception for the new Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Romania, HE Archbishop Giampiero Gloder, and the new Czech Ambassador to Romania, HE Martin Košatka.
