On 22 January, the Romanian Ambassador to the Holy See and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, HE George Bologan, and the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci, met in Rome.
Hosted by Ambassador Bologan at the Romanian Embassy to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, the two representatives took the opportunity to reflect not only on the excellent relations shared by Romania and the Sovereign Order of Malta, but also on the essence of diplomatic activities focused on the mutually reinforcing concepts of Christian values and humanitarian principles.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Musneci declared, “It was a pleasure to meet today, and we had a most interesting and pleasant conversation on the motives that move people to join organisations—like the Order—dedicated to help those in need.”
Ambassador Musneci added, “I thank Ambassador Bologan for his warm welcome to the Embassy, and I am confident that during his mandate the relationship between Romania and our Order will continue to flourish.”
