As a follow-up to the Holy Mass last Saturday, which honored the jubilee of the visit of Pope John Paul II, Pio Cesare, a member of the Order, organized a cello concert at St. Joseph Cathedral. The concert featured the Fernabucco duo on “Viola da Gamba”. The duo is composed of Polish cellists Krzysztof and Julia Karpeta, who are currently in Bucharest for the CELL EAST FESTIVAL.

This was an inspired idea to celebrate St. John Paul II, bringing together the organizing team, including the cultural organization PLACELLO, the POLISH CULTURAL INSTITUTE, the Association of Italians Abroad (COMITES), of which Pio is Vice President, and of course, the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
