As in the whole world, last Friday His Holiness Pope Francis consecrated Ukraine and Russia to the Holy heart of the Virgin Mary.
This happened already in another critical moment in recent history; just before the end of WWI.
The appeal of His Holiness has been received also by all other Romanian Bishops and several members of our Order attended the solemn celebration in different churches.
In Bucharest, the Holy Mass, celebrated by HE the Metropolitan Archbishop Aurel Perca was also attended by Romanian Orthodox Patriarhal Vicar, Bishop Ieronim Sinaitul and a representative of the Armenian Bishop. Secretary of State Opaschi and Presidential Counsellor Nistor joined this important event.
