Today, 10 February 2025, Order of Malta Romania begins the latest humanitarian mission to Ukraine, led by the Serviciul de Ajutor Maltez in Romania – Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Romania (SAMR), supported by the Embassy of the Order of Malta to Romania and the Romanian Association of the Order of Malta (AROM).

This activity is part of the Order of Malta’s ongoing humanitarian response to the full-scale war in Ukraine, which is approaching the third anniversary, where the first SAMR humanitarian caravan of 2025 departed from Romania earlier today.

Over the coming week, the Order will visit some of the villages around Kamianets-Podilskyi District, delivering foodstuffs and essential supplies to people in need, as well as providing entertainment and recreational activities for children—offering them a chance to play and have fun.
