On the 18th of January Ambassador Musneci had a meeting with Romfilatelia’s CEO, Ms. Cristiana Popescu, and Ms. Luminita Toncu, Head of Issuing Department.

The main subject of discussion was the 90th anniversary of Diplomatic relations between Romania and the Sovereign Order of Malta.

On this occasion, Romfilatelia will mark the anniversary with a special stamp issuing on the 16th of September.

This happened also in 2012, when the Order of Malta and Romania simultaneously produced a special set of stamps in coordination with the Magistral Postal Service.

This and other initiatives to mark 2022 will be developed over the coming weeks.
