20/04/2021 Yesterday, the Embassy met, together with a selected number of Chambers and NGOs, Prime Minister Mr. Florin Citu, the President of CNCAV Mr. Colonel Valeriu Gheorghita and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health and Vice-President of CNCAV, Mr. Andrei Baciu responsible for the vaccination plan to agree actions to improve the vaccination rate in Romania.
The Embassy agreed, after coordination with SAMR, to put at disposal our network of volunteers to deliver factual information on safety and effectiveness of vaccination to vulnerable communities we reach on a daily basis.
We also launched the idea accepted by a large number of Chambers of Commerce to draft a “Vaccination Manifesto” addressed to wider public to encourage access to vaccination.
