On 19 December the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci KM, met with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Oana Toiu, for a courtesy visit and to review some of the most relevant initiatives of the Order in Romania, including the humanitarian work conducted in Ukraine.
The discussion covered a number of administrative matters and included a follow-up on opportunities previously explored during Minister Toiu’s visit to Rome last year, when she met with the Grand Chancellor of the Order of Malta, HE Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo.
The meeting was also attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Mihail Harbic, and provided an opportunity to introduce the Embassy’s Minister Counsellor, Mrs Mariagabriella Gambacurta.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Musneci stated, “It is always a pleasure to meet Minister Toiu and her team, and our exchanges are consistently productive and pragmatic. This once again confirms the excellent relations between Romania and the Order of Malta.”
