Friday 8th and Saturday 9th April several knights, our dames and a few members of of our relief corp participated to the spiritual exercise organized by our President Tibor Kalnoky and led by one of our chaplain, Father Gabriel Popa.
We also invited two potential members of our Order. They are still in preparation and we believe that the gathering would help them to better understand the charisma of our Order.
The retreat took place in the beautiful Carmelites monastery of Ciofliceni, a traditional venue for our Order. We thank Father Antonio Prestipino for the hospitality and we were impressed by his work to host Ukranian refugees in this difficult times.
We reflected not only on the structure and symbolism of the Holy Mass but also on how all our activities stem out of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Last but not least, we had the pleasant surprise to have lunch with HE the Archbishop Emeritus Ioan Robu who addressed us in a short speech. His Excellency is a member ad honorem of our Order and we were happy to meet him again.
