Today we visited together with colleagues from SAMR, the mayor of Solotvino in Ukraine, just across the border in Sighetu Marmatiei. Together with Ambassador Musneci, Mihály Denes, Ferenc Tischler and Anca Simu, respectively President, General Director and Head of Programs of SAMR, participated to the meeting. Also some volunteers from Sighetu joined in and we were accompanied by the Romanian consul in Solotvino. We discussed the needs not only of the 3000 refugees hosted in the city but also a centralization of donations in Solotvino to supply other cities using State logistic network. Our great team continue to support refugees in Sighetu in full coordination with DSU and will extend its support deep into Ukraine using both Order of Malta and Ukrainian State logistic.
