On Tuesday 26 November, the Polish Ambassador to Romania, HE Paweł Soloch, organised a welcome concert and reception for the new Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Romania, HE Archbishop Giampiero Gloder, and the new Czech Ambassador to Romania, HE Martin Košatka.

During the event, there were performances by talented Romanian musicians and singers, which was followed by a vin d’honneur reception. The reception offered an important opportunity for diplomats and authorities to meet with the newly arrived members of the diplomatic corps.

Following the event, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci, declared, “We are delighted to welcome the new Czech Ambassador and the new Apostolic Nuncio to Romania and the Republic of Moldova, who is also Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.” Ambassador Musneci further explained, “With Archbishop Gloder, we have already established an excellent working relationship – including both the Embassy and the National Association in Romania (AROM). I am also encouraged by the excellent dialogue we have already established with Ambassador Košatka, who visited our Embassy in early October, only a few days after his accreditation.”

Ambassador Musneci added, “We are also grateful to the Ambassador Soloch for his constant friendship towards the Order. Poland remains a key partner, and the Order of Malta Relief Corps in Romania (SAMR) works shoulder-to-shoulder with our Polish counterparts, especially in the ongoing effort to support the people of Ukraine in these challenging times.”
