The Eight-Pointed Cross
Each of the eight points of the Order’s white cross symbolise one of the eight Beatitudes according to the Gospel of Matthew, as well as one of the eight foundational virtues of the Order: loyalty, piety, honesty, courage, honour and glory, contempt for death, solidarity towards the poor and the sick, and respect for the Church.

Conference on child protection co-organised by the Romanian Government and Italian Embassy
On 31 October, the Government of Romania and the Embassy of Italy in Romania co-organised a conference in Bucharest on child protection, focussed both on children in families with difficulties, as well as institutionalised children.
