Order of Malta in Romania host 45 Ukrainians at children’s camp

From 28 May to 4 June, the Order of Malta in Romania hosted 45 children and teachers from Kamianets-Podilskyi in Ukraine at the Order's camp facilities located in Micfalău, Covasna County, in the heart of Transylvania.

Dinner with Mykhailo Simashkevich -the President of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council

The dinner organized by the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Romania in honor of the President of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council, Mykhailo Simashkevich, who is visiting Bucharest together with 45 Ukrainian children and teachers, guests of the Maltese Aid Corps in Romania (SAMR) at the Order’s facilities in Micfalău, was coordinated by Mihaly Denes, the Hospitaller of the Order in Romania, and highlighted the close relations between the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council and the Order of Malta, strengthened during the war in Ukraine.

Africa Day

The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta participated in AFRICA DAY at the Diplomatic Club, celebrating the National Days of all African countries. This year’s focus was on education and re-skilling for new global challenges. The event, vibrant with colors, sounds, food, and dances, highlighted the continent's opportunities despite its challenges. Opening remarks by Moroccan Ambassador H.E. Hassan Abouyoub and Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Luminita Odobescu emphasized strong Romania-Africa relations.
