Rome, 3 July 2025 - To reiterate the ideals and values of peace, dialogue and solidarity as pillars of cooperation in a world marked by wars and humanitarian crises. This is the key message that emerged from the state visit of the Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta Fra' John T. Dunlap to the Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino, which ended on 3rd of July.
In the evening of 24th of June, the Embassy of the Order to Romania hosted the Order’s annual reception at the Diplomatic Club in Bucharest.
In 2024, three new Members—two Knights and one Dame—were unanimously admitted to the Order of Malta within the Romanian Association (AROM) by the Sovereign Council.
On the evening of Thursday 19 June 2025, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci KM, attended a reception in Bucharest celebrating His Britannic Majesty the King's Birthday.

On 16 June 2025, the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci KM, met with HE Adrian Năstase, President of the Titulescu Foundation, former Prime Minister (December 2000 to December 2004) and former Minister of Foreign Affairs (June 1990 to November 1992) of Romania, among other political roles.
In May 2025, the counties of Covasna and Harghita in central and northern Romania were hit by severe floods, triggered by days of torrential rain that far exceeded the monthly average. Over 300 households were affected in Covasna alone, with hundreds of people evacuated. Houses suffered extensive damage, lost essential belongings, and access to clean water.
On 26 May 2025, the Greek-Catholic Bishop of Bucharest, Mihai Cătălin Frățilă, with the support of HE Ciprian-Vasile Olinici, the State Secretary for Religious Affairs in the Romanian Government, organised a concert in honour of Cardinal Iuliu Hossu.
On 26 May 2025, the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Romania, HE Roberto Musneci KM, along with other members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, were invited by HE Nicușor Dan to witness his oath-taking ceremony and inauguration as President at Parliament in Bucharest.
